From humble beginnings to a legacy of excellence.

Founded in 1801 near Martintown, Ontario, Kinhaven Farms began as a homestead farm before transitioning to dairy production, and later into grain and oilseed farming. Today, under the stewardship of sixth-generation farmer Scott Kinloch and his wife Jennifer, Kinhaven continues to evolve — with an eye on the future and roots planted firmly in the past.

Their three children — Mila, Griffin, and Fergus — may one day become the seventh generation to carry the Kinloch legacy forward.

Our Scottish heritage runs deep

The Kinloch name comes from “ceann loch,” meaning head of the loch in Gaelic — a nod to our ancestral lands near Rossie Loch in Fife, Scotland. Our family motto, Non Degener (Latin for “Not Degenerate”), speaks to a lasting commitment: to honour tradition, act with integrity, and cultivate excellence in everything we do. For over 200 years, our family has contributed to the fabric of Martintown — preserving both our Scottish roots and our Canadian identity with pride.
